WASHINGTON: Soon after his former wife Danielle Bux given birth to a baby girl, Gary Lineker was amongst the firsts to congratulate her.

Actress Danielle on Friday announced on Instagram that she had given birth to daughter Romy Wren with partner Nate Greenwald.

The picture depicts her eldest daughter Ella holding hands with the newest edition to the Bux clan, captioning, “Sisters. Our baby girl has arrived Romy Wren Greenwald. A whopper, as expected. 8.3lbs. 8/8/17.”

Many people were quick to send their congratulatory messages to the 38-year-old mother, including former husband Gary, who wrote, ‘Congratulations to you both. Chuffed for you x,’

The pair married in September 2009 and announced their divorce in January 2016.

The split happened reportedly due to the fact that 56-year-old Gary was reluctant to have any more children.

Gary wasn’t the only one from the Lineker clan to send on well wishes. Gary’s son, Tobias, also commented on the picture, with a short, but sweet ‘Congrats Dan x’.
