Kim Kardashian thought she'd be raped, shot during Paris heist

LOS ANGELES: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian says she thought she was going to be raped and shot at when she was robbed in Paris last year.

Kim was in Paris during the Paris Fashion Week in October 2016 when the incident happened. She spoke about the it on the Sunday episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", reports aceshowbiz.com.

"What I think happened now after thinking about it so much is that there was probably a group of guys that were following us the entire trip," Kim, 36, revealed as her sisters Khloe and Kourtney sat by her side for support.

"I was Snapchatting that I was home and everyone was going to out, so I think they knew Pascal (Duvier) was out with Kourtney and that I was there by myself. They had this window of opportunity and just went for it," she added.

Kim then recalled the moment she was held at gunpoint by masked men posing as police officers during the October 3 heist. She said she thought she was going to be raped and killed.

"I was looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs," she recalled, before describing the man putting duct tape on her mouth to stop her from screaming.

"He grabs my legs and I wasn't, you know, I had no clothes on under. He pulled me toward him at the front of the bed and I thought, 'OK, this is the moment they're going to rape me'," she recalled on the show, aceshowbiz.com reported.

"I fully mentally prepped myself -- and then he didn't. He duct taped my legs together and had the gun up on me. I just knew that was the moment. They're just totally going to shoot me in the head."

"I just prayed that Kourtney's going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed," she added.

She also recounted that the robbers placed her in the bathroom before bagging millions of dollars worth of jewellery, including a 20-carat diamond ring estimated to be worth $4.5 million.

Since the event took place, 17 suspects were detained for questioning in January. Ten suspects have since been charged in connection with the robbery.
