The makers of The Villain, who had intially planned to go on floors in the month of March, have now pushed the schedule to the first week of April.
The reason, we hear is that the team is waiting for Amy Jackson. Prem’s directorial features Shivarajkumar and Sudeep in the lead roles. “Prem, who is yet to officially confirm Amy as the female lead, is waiting for her arrival,” says our source,
“She is paired opposite Sudeep in the film while Sruthi Hariharan will be seen opposite Shivarajkumar.” our source adds.
Amy has completed her shoot for Shankar’s magnum opus 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.
According to her latest tweet, the actress is now on the sets of her English movie Boogie Man. It is only just a matter of time, when Amy shall join the sets of her first Kannada film.
