MUMBAI: Veteran actor Anupam Kher's short film "Kheer" has bagged the Best International Short Film award at the Vancouver International Film Festival.

Anupam on Friday tweeted: "Our short film 'Kheer' has won a big prize. We got the Best International Short Film award for 'Kheer' at the Vancouver international Film Festival. Jai Ho to the entire team."

Directed by Surya Balakrishnan, the short film also stars Natasha Rastogi, Abhimanyu Chawla and Stuti Dixit. "Kheer" is about an elderly couple in love.

The short film was hosted on the day before Valentine's day this year, by the YouTube channel 'Terribly Tiny Tales'. Watch the heart-warming film here:
