Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma known for making crime movies based on real-life criminals, is ready with his next. This one will be based on the life of Mohammed Nayeemuddin aka Nayeem, a criminal-naxalite-turned-police informer, who was killed in a police encounter on August 8.
He took to Twitter and announced that Nayeem would be made into three parts. “Just gathered entire information on Nayeemuddin from multiple sources. His crimes over the years are full of truly hair-rising details. Am going to make a 3-part film on the Nayeem story,” he wrote on the micro-blogging site.
Further, he said, “Nayeemuddin’s story is so complex and with so much content that it’s impossible to justify it by saying it in only one feature film. Nayeemuddin’s transformation from a naxalite to a police informant to a underworld gangster to become an all time Criminal no 1 is scary (sic).” His last venture was based on the story of dacoit Veerappan.
