Speculations are rife that Kajol is likely to be a part of Dhanush’s upcoming film Velai Illa Pattadhari 2 (VIP-2). Rumours suggest that she has also been offered `4 crore as remuneration! While it is being said that the 42-year-old actor has been offered an important role, it’s not clear if she has given her consent or not.
But if this is materialised, she would be seen in a Tamil film after 19 years. She was last seen the Prabhu Deva-Arvind Swami starrer Minsara Kanavu (1997).
To be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, Dhanush will again play the role of Raghuvaran in VIP-2, and the film will be bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu. The shooting is likely to begin soon and the latest buzz is that the makers have retained Amala Paul and Samuthirakani for the sequel too.
