MUMBAI: Actress and fashion diva Sonam Kapoor will be travelling to London ahead of the Cannes Film Festival.
Keeping her plans under tight wrap, Sonam is heading to London to meet with some fashion houses for her fittings. Set to travel to London on May 8, she plans to spend the next few days finalizing her red carpet looks. While it is not clear as to who she will be meeting, read a statement.
Sonam, who is also a L’Oréal Paris ambassador, has always managed to carry both traditional and modern couture styles with panache and aplomb.
The actress will make her appearance at the festival on May 15 and 16.
Varun teams up with 'legend' Ganesh Acharya
Actor Varun Dhawan has "finally" teamed up with Ganesh Acharya for his upcoming film "Badrinath Ki Dulhania" and has called the ace choreographer a "legend".
Varun took to Twitter, where he shared about his excitement to work with the choreographer.
"With the legend. Spent my whole childhood seeing this man choregraph countless heroes. finally got a chance to team up with Ganesh masterji. Thank you Shashank Khaitan, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' Alia Bhatt," Varun tweeted on Saturday.
This is the second time Varun is teaming up with Khaitan for a film. The worked together in the 2014 film "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania".
"Badrinath Ki Dulhania" also stars Alia Bhatt, who was also a part of the 2014 film.
Mika Singh's first song with 'dashing' Abhishek Bachchan
Singer Mika Sing, who has crooned a number titled "Taang Uthake", says this would be his "first" song with actor Abhishek Bachchan in 19 years of knowing each other.
Singh took to Twitter, where he said that "Taang Uthake" from the film "Housefull 3", will be his tenth song with Akshay Kumar, third with Riteish Deshmukh and first with Abhishek.
"It's gonna be my 10th song with handsome Akshay Kumar, third song with sweetest person, Riteish Deshmukh and first song with dashing Abhishek Bachchan," Mika tweeted.
The "Refugee" star replied saying the song is "special".
"Mika Singh and that's why it's special Paaji. Our first song in 19 years of knowing you. Here's to many more," Abhishek wrote.
Directed by Sajid Farhad, "Housefull 3" features also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon.
The film is set to release on June 3.
