Shahid Kapur is the latest star to lend his name to a clothing brand, but the star candidly admits that his fashion skills are only recently acquired.
The star claims that his association with a fashion brand was weird for him because “about 10 years back I think I was a fashion victim.” At the launch of his online brand Skult, Shahid elaborates, “I had absolutely no idea about what was cool what to wear, where to buy it. When I was 18, I don’t even think there was Google, forget about Instagram and other places where you can discover what’s cool around the world. I used to wear really bright yellow T-shirts and really tight jeans and boots and think that’s cool.”
Fortunately for Shahid, he has since picked up the ropes when it comes to strike. “It’s been a long journey. In the last 2-3 years, I felt like I understood a little bit about style and I wanted to express myself with the fashion line. I have been working on this for over a year. Skult is very close to my heart because it is about the freedom of expression.”
