H Hrithik Roshan and producer Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment worked together in Laskhya and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and since then they have been great friends. They were sure to be seen in each other’s parties and were also seen socialising together otherwise. But looks like now the friendship between the two gentlemen has come under a bit of a strain.
Ever since it was declared that Hrithik’s Kaabil is going to be released on the same day as Ritesh Sidhwani produced Raees, it is said that all’s not well between the two friends.
A source says, , “There have been many stories regarding Raees and Kaabil’s box office clash. Some time ago when makers of both the movies were trying to sort out the issue and were in discussions as to who will change the release date of their film, Hrithik and Ritesh apparently had a heated argument.”
Rakesh Roshan had expressed his displeasure openly when he stated in an interview that Raees producers have taken a wrong decision to announce the same release date, when Kabil’s date was already announced earlier. Hrithik too had spoken about how this has hurt his dad.
The source continues, “Hrithik and Ritesh have just stopped speaking to each other. Their common friends are trying to make them see sense and convince them to be back to being friends again.”
