NEW DELHI: Priyanka Chopra’s strong bond with her father is known to everyone. Remembering him on his death anniversary today, the Bollywood beauty shared a heart-wrenching message.
The 34-year-old-actress took to Twitter and paid tribute to his father with an emotional tweet.
While responding to a message from her fan club, Priyanka wrote, “Thank you to all for your wishes. Four years today. Some things will always hurt.”
The ‘Baywatch’ star lost her father, Ashok Chopra, on this day in 2013 after battling from cancer.
Mr. Chopra was a doctor by profession and had retired from the Indian Army in 1997 as Lieutenant Colonel.
PeeCee even has a tattoo inked on her wrist which reads, “Daddy's li'l girl”.
Earlier this year, when Priyanka's production venture ‘Ventilator’ won three National Awards, she took to Instagram and wrote an emotional message saying that she wanted to make this film for her father.
