Sushant Singh Rajput and Rajkummar Rao come back together in Raabta. After the casting process was over director Dinesh Vijan happened to casually mention to Sushant that Rajkummar will be doing a cameo in the film. As soon as Sushant learnt this he immediately called Rajkumar.
They spoke at length and were happy how they will once again get the chance to be on a film set together. When they met on sets they were constantly interacting and hung out post pack up.
Sushant says “When Dinesh mentioned that Rajkummar will be doing a cameo in the film I was ecstatic. I have worked with him in my first film and there are so many things I learn from him and memories I carry of the film. I immediately reached out to him.”
He further adds “We did not get to hangout as much on sets. It was a hectic schedule. We both had to do hours of makeup and I had some high action sequences which were very demanding. But, it just felt good to work with him again.”
Raabta starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh marks the debut of Dinesh Vijan as a director.
