Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Jagga Jasoos has been delayed for a long time. The unit apparently re-shot some of the portions last month, and the film is finally all set for release.
The new release date for the film is July 14, and while the makers want to add a promotional song to it as part of their marketing campaign, a source says Katrina is against the idea.
“The film is ready, and the post production work is almost done. We are planning to start promotions from next month.
The makers feel that they need to have an additional song in it. However, Katrina is not willing to do it as she has tight schedule,” the source says. Katrina is currently shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai with Salman Khan in Abu Dhabi. It is a long schedule, and the actress has apparently given limited dates for promotions of Jagga Jasoos.
She is then supposed to begin shooting for the Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Thugs of Hindostan, in which she is, reportedly, playing a dancer. Katrina is also a part of Anand L Rai’s untitled film with Shah Rukh Khan. Jagga Jasoos is directed by Anurag Basu and co-produced Ranbir Kapoor.
