NEW DELHI: After yesterday’s bumper announcement of a movie with Akshay Kumar, filmmaker Karan Johar has made another blockbuster announcement, which is surely going to make fans crazy.

On the 75th birthday of Amitabh Bachchan, the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ helmer took to his Twitter handle to announce a new movie with the Shehenshah of Bollywood; alongside, the movie will also have  Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Karan Johar, who is producing the film has revealed the title of the same, which is ‘Brahmastra’.

He announced the project with a photo and captioned it, “A TRILOGY ...A FANTASY ADVENTURE....A LABOUR OF LOVE....."BRAHMASTRA”

The previous title of the film was ‘Dragon’ and was not part of any trilogy. But, Karan did clarify on Twitter last month that the movie is not called 'DRAGON' and title will be announced soon.

Helmed by Ayan Mukerji (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), the flick is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2019.

This will be the third time Ranbir will be collaborating with Ayan, after 'Wake Up Sid' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.

‘Brahmastra’ marks the first outing of Ranbir and Alia, along with Big B.
