October shines at box office, collects Rs. 20.25 crores in three days

After cumulating praises from the critics and the film fraternity, the unconventional 'October', starring Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu, has received a thumbs up from the audience.

NEW DELHI: After cumulating praises from the critics and the film fraternity, the unconventional 'October', starring Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu, has received a thumbs up from the audience, raking a total of Rs. 20.25 crores in three days.

Shoojit Sircar's 'October' started slow but gradually gathered steam with good word of mouth.

As quoted by Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst and an Indian film critic, the movie witnessed ample growth after it saw a slow start on Friday.

The film revolves around Dhawan, who is on a quest to find Sandhu, a girl who was in love with him during college days.

The flick hit the theatres on April 13.
