Chiranjeevi Sarja makes a comeback

The actor is not desperate to hit stardom overnight as he wants to polish his acting skills first
Chiranjeevi Sarja makes a comeback

Chiranjeevi Sarja will be back on screen almost after a year with 'Varadhanayaka'. “I believe in working for one movie at a time. However, this film required dates where all the artistes had to be together as we had lot of combined scenes. Even if one person was absent, the schedule would go haywire,” said Chiru, who could have juggled between two films but he did not take it up on purpose.

“I would like to present my character differently in each film and the role in this movie excited me. I didn't mind if it took a long time,” he explained.

He actually discovered an artist in himself while he was shooting for 'Vardhanayaka', he said. “So far whoever has seen the promos of the film have told me that I have done a good job.

Personally in my opinion, people are going to accept me and start considering me as a good actor,” Chiru uttered.

When there are several original scripts coming up, what was the reason for a remake of a Telugu film, 'Lakshyam', which has already been quite a hit everywhere?

Chiru said, “I reiterate that the film will work mainly because of the combination of actors like Sudeep, Sameera Reddy and Nikesha Patel. Basically the line of the film remains the same whereas there is a sea of changes in both making and visuals.”

By now, everybody knows that Sudeep and Chiranjeevi are more like brothers off-screen. But as a working professional, Chiru was scared initially. “I always thought, I would be comfortable as I am more or less like his brother.

But he being a good actor and with both of us coming together there will be high expectations. But as days wentby, the fear died down,” disclosed Chiru, who is all geared up to talk about the film. "As of now, they plan for a November 30 release. But the final date is yet to be finalised," he added.

Up next from Chiru will be a commercial-action thriller. “The movie is yet to be titled with 'Nanda Kumar' directing the film under Shankar Gowda’s banner. I might start shooting for the film in December," he divulged.

Chiru might be lying low as his previous films did not work well at the box office. “I have not disappeared nor has my absence for a long time affected my career. I am desperate for success. At the same time I don't want to spoil my name with random films. I would want to give at least two good films a year and try to be in touch with the audience,” said Chiru who further added

As for the industry people who are ruling him off from tinsel town because of his disappearance, Chiru asserted. "I am not aware of such rumours as I keep meeting my industry folks. Anyways, 'Vardhanayaka' will tell them that Chiru still exists. Also, I have been working on my looks. I’m trying to be experimental to get to know the character better. If I want to be a star, I need to be a proper actor first," he concluded.
