Pranitha

The southern film industry seems to be smitten by Kannada actress Pranitha Subhash. She is fast becoming a hot favourite with Kannada directors. The latest to rope her in for a project is R Chandru.

Chandru has cast Pranitha in Brahma -  shooting for which has already begun.

Pranitha will join Brahma’s crew once she’s done with  her commitments for the Telugu film, Attharintiki Daaredhi which has Pawan Kalyan and Samantha in the lead roles. She has just completed shooting for Whistle, a remake of the Tamil film Pizza.

Brahma stars Upendra, and Chandru was earlier eager to cast Trisha as its female lead. But Trisha didn’t share his enthusiam about working in a Kannada film just yet.  Chandru then opted for a local actress.

On her part, Pranitha is only too happy to be part of the another Kannada film and, of course,  to work with Upendra.
