If sources are to be believed, a team of 12 producers have gone to Chennai to meet Sudeep with a request to participate in the fourth season of the Dr Raj Cup, a celebrity cricket match which will be held from November 21-23. Sudeep who completed his schedule for his film Ranna has recently joined the team of Vijay 58 in Chennai, where he is currently shooting. The tournament is organised by the Kannada Chalanachitra Karmikara Mattu Kalavidara Okkutta headed by ex choreographer Rajesh Bramhavar.
The final match of the tournment will be held on December 7 in Malaysia. Currently seven teams have been finalised, led by Shivarajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar, Upendra, Duniya Vijay and Srinagar Kitty respectively. The producers hope to convince Sudeep to take time off from his schedule and participate in the matches. Whether Sudeep will try his luck at the crease remains to be seen.
