Dhruv Has His Cake and Eats it Too

Dhruv Sarja has every reason to celebrate in style for his film Bahaddhur is doing very well at the box office, in spite of having tough competition from other big releases. The actor who celebrated his birthday  on October 6 ended up cutting around 50 to 60 cakes in one day! "It was a cakemania and they made me eat so much cake that I need to make up for it by putting in extra hours at the gym," chuckles Dhruv.

On a more serious note the actor says that he feels "blessed" and extremely happy at having earned so many fans with just two films!

After the success of Atthuri and Bahaddhur, Dhruv is being extremely careful about choosing his third project. As per our sources, we hear that well-known directors like Krishna of Gajakesari fame, A Harsha, AP Arjun and Nanda Kishore have prospective projects for the Bahaddhur star. These apart, Sarja has around 5 to 6 newbie directors who have a story for him including director Yogi, who just completed Kushishiyalli and Mahesh who was assistant to  Yogaraj Bhat, among others. Our sources also reveal that Suni and Dhruv were supposed to come together for Panta to be produced by RS Productions.

With an impressive line-up of directors, it is up to Dhruv to chose the best.  "My third project should be of a different genre from my earlier films, but should also have a universal subject that the audience can relate to.  I will work with a director whose story will work out for both of us and will also make sure that the team includes good technicians and other members that I can be comfortable working with," he says.

While Dhruv sports an extremely fit and trendy look in the film and admits that he has worked very hard for his six-pack abs, yet he is shy to go shirtless. The actor feels that a director might have a hard time in convincing him to do the same. Dhruv feels that regular exercise relaxes him at the end of a long day and keep him looking fit.

No wonder he can eat so many cakes without too much guilt!
