Srimurali and Rachita Ram starrer Rathaavara recently had an unusual audio release with the actor and director Chandrashekar Bandiappa along with the team visiting Tumakkuru to seek blessings from 108-year-old guruji Shivakumara Swami of Sree Siddaganga Mutt. “I beleive in that Guruji and I also felt that it was the best opening for Rathaavara promotions,” says Srimurali, adding,
“It depends from film to film and how you want to take it ahead. A lot of things are involved when you work in a production house and we need to work around the situations and idea. The minute guruji blessed us, the audio was launched,” he says.
The actor is excited to learn that the audio which was officially launched online on Thursday has been making the right kind of noise. “I have crossed one lakh with the teaser and now the song is also creating an equal buzz with 70,000 views within a day of its release,” he says.
With Jayanna taking over the distribution rights of Rathaavara, the makers are in the process of going to the censors. “Right now I am not in a position to give the exact release date, but the movie should be out by this month end or by first week of December, before which I have a surprise for the audience,” he says.
For Srimurali, Rathaavara is coming after the blockbuster hit Ugramm, released in 2014.
