Neer Dose

The Neer Dose controversy does not seem to die down. The much-delayed film, which hoped to see the light of the day only to see multiple makers shelving it again and again, for non-availability of the lead actress Ramya, seems to have got a glimmer of hope again. Helmed by Vijay Prasad, the film has crossed all the hurdles with Hariprriya finally been roped in for the project.

Skanda Entertainment Private Limited has officially taken over the project. Incidentally, back in 2012, when the idea of the film took shape, it was the same production house which had come forward to finance the project.

A small pooja took place yesterday in the presence of  actors Jaggesh and Dattanna. In all probability, the shooting of the film will begin on September 9 or 10.

Neer.jpgThe first schedule of the film will be taking place for seven days and the rest of the portions will be scheduled in October. Vijay Prasad had completed 40 per cent of the shoot with Ramya, which will have to be reshot with Hariprriya. This will be a challenge for the actress who has shown phenomenal growth in recent years. It definitely shows her maturity that she is taking up such testing projects.

Going by the reports about Neer Dose, Hariprriya will play a commercial sex worker with important roles played by Suman Ranganathan, Dattanna and Jaggesh.
