Imran spots the next big talent, Sharath debuts in his directorial

Dance choreographer-director Imran Sadhariya spots and shapes talents, and also ensures that the artistes get ample opportunities to prove themselves.

While we have the example of Sruthi Hariharan, a junior dancer in Imran's team, who is now an established actress, the next-in-line for fame from the choreographer's team is Sharath S.

The 26-year-old actor, who has been a dance instructor for eight years, is now making his Sandalwood debut with Imran's second directorial Uppu Huli Khara. The newbie, paired opposite Anushree in the film, plays one of the leads along with Dhanu and Shashi. The film also stars Malashree in an important role.

Sharath is a winner of the reality show Life Super Guru and has also anchored a travel show, before making it to tinsel town. "Though I have been offered serials and films, I couldn't have asked for a better launch than working in the film that is helmed by master (Imran). I feel lucky," he says.

Ask the upcoming talent, what impressed Imran to consider him and he says, "He saw my dedication and hardwork. Master always told me that 'patience' is the mantra for anyone who wants to be an actor. I have religiously followed his instructions. Finally, the effort has proved fruitful with master himself finding a spot for me in his film," he says.

However, Sharath's passion for dancing will always stay, he says. "I am an actor, because of my dancing skills. I will still continue to teach dancing. Acting is another opportunity to showcase my other talent," says Sharath, who has personally coached actors such as Prem, Manvitha Harish in dance. "Right now I want to give 200 per cent to my debut. So that's all I have to say about Uppu Huli Khara."
