Rama Rama re gets celebrity push

Director  Satya Prakash's upcoming film Rama Rama Re seems to have garnered all the attention of Sandalwood celebrities, going by their response to his film’s trailer. Actors and directors including Rakshit Shetty, Pawan Kumar, Anup Bhandari, Dhananjaya and Sruthi Hariharan have been sharing the trailer through tweets.

Satya, who began his filmmaking career with a short film, Jayanagara IV Block starring Dhananjaya, says that the response has been quite encouraging. “Colleagues in the industry have wholeheartedly helped me reach the audience. I feel overwhelmed with their support and hope that I will attract the audience when my film releases,” he says.

But it has not been easy for the director while making his first independent film. “Rama Rama Re did not find a producer. Ultimately, the people who got involved in the project invested in the film. So, every bit of good review is definitely a boost to us,” he says.

He reveals that the film tries to explore the road journey of a youth, who escapes from jail. “This film is not just about a road trip, but life journey. Whatever can possibly happen between birth and death is explored in this film,” he says.

The story written by Satya and has music by Vasuki Vaibhav along with Nobin Paul who have done the background score.

The film features K Jayaram, Nataraj S  Bhat,  Dharmanna Kadur among others  Cinematography is by Lavith and editor is BS Kemparaju. The film has a blend of senior technicians and newcomers,” he says.

Satya plans to release the audio on September 2 and hopefully release the film by next month.

“We are also in the process of sending our film to various festivals,”  the director says.
