Sudeep, now a popular name on the small screen with the reality show Bigg Boss will now be turning producer for the serial Varasdhara.
The first look lets us a sneak peek into Yagna Shetty’s small screen debut and also shows child artiste, Chitrali, the winner of Drama Juniors is playing an important role.
Apparently, it was Sudeep’s choice to go for Chitrali. He has been blown away by her
acting skills, we hear.
The serial directed, by Gadda Viji also has actors Ravi Chetan, Veena Ponnappa, Ramesh Pandit, Veena Venkatesh, Ram among others in the cast.
Varasdhara is a story about the unforeseen circumstances a women faces when she gives birth to a girl child. The story is set in Shivapura district. The serial will be aired on Zee from December 19.
As a producer, Sudeep is making sure the project is made in a cinema production quality and has hence roped in well known technicians for the serial.
