Mukunda murari's bike up for auction

According to Jack Manju, the distributor of Mukunda Murari, the idea of the auction came up in order to benefit a noble cause.

Here is an opportunity to ride a bullet that Sudeep was on, in the recently released film, Mukunda Murari. The bullet that was specially modified in Mumbai and used in the film will be up for auction on November 11.

According to Jack Manju, the distributor of Mukunda Murari, the idea of the auction came up in order to benefit a noble cause.

The bullet will be displayed at Menaka Theatre on November 1 and will take a whirl towards Mysuru today, stopping at theatres in Shivamogga, Hubbali, Davangere and Tumakuru. The bullet will be back in Bengaluru at Menaka theatre and will be displayed on November 9 and 10. The auction will take place on November 11 between 11am and 12 pm," says Jack Manju.

The makers want to donate the money from the auction to Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddganga Mutt and seek his blessings.

"Apparently, fans of Sudeep and Upendra who watched Mukunda Murari have been wanting to buy the bike. That's when we came up with the idea. In fact, a person — Koddanda has already come forward to buy it for ` 2 lakh, but we will wait till November 11," says the distributor.
Meanwhile, the makers are happy to see women thronging theatres to watch Upendra and Sudeep. "Most of them are aged between 30 and 55, a crowd that usually stays within the comfort of their home watching serials," says Manju.

"We also had a couple of single theatres and multiplexes increasing their shows, which is a good sign." he says. The film directed by Nanda Kishore has Arjun Janya's music and cinematography by Sudhakar S Raj.
