Yash is overwhelmed with the reception his latest film, Santhu Straight Forward, has received. The actor thanks his fans for making the film a success: "I am extremely happy with the way people have received the film. Though we didn't get enough theatres and screens, the box office collection of Santhu... is  outstanding," he says. But now Yash will take a long break before he starts with another film. The actor's next will be KGF, which will go on floors only by January 2017. Reason? Yash is taking a break to concentrate on his personal life.

The actor, who got engaged to Radhika Pandit a few months ago, will tie the knot in December and the wedding dates have been fixed as December 10 and 11. "It is time, I listen to my parents otherwise they will kick me out of the house," he says with a chuckle. "They are already upset with my busy schedule. They want me to focus on my marriage. I will put in another week of my time for Santhu..., after which, I will take a short break from the cinema world to concentrate on my wedding preparations."

The actor is grateful to his fans for all the support they have given Santhu... and assures them that he will strive to do better and says that their love and support will not be wasted. "I will be more ambitious and work really hard to entertain them and be a more responsible citizen," he says.
Yash enjoys the mass hero status and says that only commercial films brings all kinds of audiences to theatres. "I have always loved commercial films and appreciate its reach," he says. "I make sure that my film's story carries family values even while it brings in a romantic angle and humour. I believe in a good package because I don't intend to target only one segment of the audience and feel happy when everybody watches my film," he says.
