The film made under Hombale films will hit the screens in the third week of January. Directed by Santhosh Ananddram, it is now in the post production stages with just a few days of talkie portions left with Sadhu Kokila.
The next film from the actor, as officially announced, will be the remake of Poojai, directed by A Harsha of Bajarangi and Vajrakaya fame. Produced by MN Kumar and Jayashree Devi, the film is all set to go on floors from mid-January. According to reliable sources, the Power Star will follow it with producer Lagadapati Sridhar’s project.

“The film has been officially signed and details will be announced when every aspect gets finalised,” sources state.
Meanwhile, Puneeth has confirmed another big project for 2017 titled James. “The script by Chethan Kumar is apt for Puneeth and he has liked the concept of the film. So he will take up the film which will be another film that will go on floors next year,” sources say.

While there are speculations of Gautam Menon roping in the actor, rumours are rife that Puneeth and Suri combination will be back again. If true, it will be their fourth film together.

“Though nothing has been confirmed, the combination has always made headlines. So, it is only with time that we will get to know what is in store from the two after Jackie, Anna Bond and Doddmane Hudga,” our sources say.
