There have been rumours doing the rounds that Pavan Wadeyar will be directing Puneeth Rajkumar again, and the final word is in. He has roped in the Power Star for yet another interesting subject, after Rana Vikrama.
Pavan, who has titled Puneeth’s new entertainer as VAP (Veera Anjaneya Prasada) is sure to create a buzz in Gandhinagar. The star’s fans are likely to go gaga over the title itself, thus making an intersting start for the film.
Though there has been no official announcement yet, our sources say that the muhurath of VAP to be produced by Sireesha Lagadapati will be on October 11. The movie is expected to go on floors from the beginning of next year and once the star is done with the shoot of his current project.
Lagadapati has previously produced Pavan’s Telugu film Potugadu, which was a remake of his debut film Govindaya Namaha.
Pavan’s project can get only bigger with him directing Puneeth for the second time. Filmmakers rush to work with him but we hear that Puneeth liked the subject in Pavan’s VAP.
Pavan got a break to work with the star in his very third film Rana Vikrama and it turned out to be a huge success at the box office. The film produced by Jayanna and Bogendra and released in April 2015 featured Puneeth in a dual role. It was a high-voltage action movie that packed a punch with powerful dialogues and received a positive response from the audience all over the globe. Puneeth even bagged a couple of awards for his role.
VAP too seems headed towards that direction with Pavan bringing in a lot of variations in the hero’s character.
Meanwhile, the director is gearing up to the release of his upcoming film Nataraja Service, which
cleared the censors with a ‘U’ certificate.
