Vijay's high-octane stunt for Maasti Gudi

Duniya Vijay is more than just an actor in his films. Known for doing his own death-defying stunts, the actor has done it once again  for his upcoming film, Maasti Gudi.  The makers,  busy wrapping up the last schedule of the movie,  are currently shooting the climax of at Tipgondana Halli Dam. According to producer, Sundar P Gowdru, this particular stunt alone cost him more than ` 1.25 crore.

"This film has six important fights and the climax fight has Vijay's stunts, choreographed by Ravi Verma that will take your breath away," he says.
The climax requires close to 11 days of shoot, with the highlight being boats and a helicopter, which were specially brought in for these scenes. "The boats are set and we have requested permission for the helicopter, which will be coming in a day or two," says the producer, adding,    "This particular scene that has been shot at present is between the hero and the two villains Anil Raghav and Uday. And with the way the climax shoot is progressing, Vijay will create that required buzz with the climax portions. He is completely focused," he says.

With this, Maasti Gudi  will come  to end of shoot this week and the team will start with their post production work.    "We are hopeful of a release this December," says the producer.     Directed by Nagashekhar, the movie is a thriller.  Apart from Vijay, the film features Amulya and Kriti Kharbanda with Rangayana Raghu, Suhasini Maniratnam playing important roles. The film has Sathya Hegde as its cameraman and music by Sadhu Kokila.
