It all started with her good innings on the idiot box. Nayana, who created ripples with her comedy act on the reality show Comedy Khiladigalu has now set her eyes on the silver screen and will be the latest entrant into Sandalwood. She has had many offer pouring in from Kannada filmmakers and she has chosen to start with a comedy film, Jantar Mantar. But, the big break for Nayana will be the special role she will play in Yash-starrer KGF.
Apart from Yash and a few other senior actors, director Prashanth Neel has considered mostly new artistes including Srinidhi Shetty, the heroine.The filmmakers have told the actors to keep mum about their roles and so Nayana cannot reveal much to us, except that it is “very special”.KGF shoot is currently on and the actress is likely to join the team any time soon. The film made under Hombale Films has a grand budget. It has Bhuvan Gowda’s cinematography and Ravi Basrur’s music.
