Dandupalya 2 resumes, part 3 to be shot parallelly

Producer Venkat has sorted out his issues and has given a green signal to schedule the dates, while Srinivas Raju will produce Dandupalya 3.

Just when we were told by director Srinivas Raju that Dandupalya 2 starring Pooja Gandhi, Makrand Deshpande, and Ravi Shankar was stalled due to unforeseen circumstances, within a fortnight the director comes back with good news. His film will come to life with producer Venkat sorting out his finances.

The makers, who started shooting for the sequel in March 2016 were just left with 20 days of shoot, which schedule kept postponing for the last nine months, resulting in artistes and technicians losing interest

Srinivas is currently planning the schedule and will go on the sets in a week or two. “The demonetisation impact took a toll on the project, which has been sorted out. I had to wait for the producer to take the call, which he did a couple of days ago,” he says.

Interestingly, the director has planned to shoot the part 3 in parallel. The project will be produced by Srinivas Raju himself. “I will now be completing part 2 and part 3 at a stretch and release the latter in a gap of 15 to 20 days,” Srinivas reveals to City Express.

Pooja Gandhi, who is gearing up to shoot her portions says, “This was a film which made me to get into the skin. So I was thrilled when I heard that the producer is taking the film forward. What was thrilling to know is that Srinivas will be shooting part 3 portions too. So, Dandupalya will keep me busy for some time,” she says. Meanwhile, Pooja has signed another project titled, Bhanumati, and the official details will be revealed by the actress, as and when they set to go on floors.
