That one film has done all the magic for Rashmika Mandanna. The actress who just started her career with Kirik Party, is being flooded with offers as she bags her fourth project in row.
This time Rashmika has netted a biggie with her being paired opposite Puneeth Rajkumar in Harsha’s upcoming directorial, a remake of Poojai. Harsha confirms that Rashmika is on board and says that he is happy to have roped in a Kannada heroine for his film.
“There were a few names floating around, but I was keen on bringing in a local talent,” says Harsha.
“I came to know about Rashmika through Kirik Party and watched the film. She came across as a promising talent in Sandalwood and so we roped her in.”
Though this is her fourth project in Kannada, it will be Harsha’s next film and she will start work on it from the first week of February. This she will follow up with Suni’s Chamak and accordingly plan her schedule for a Prakash
Jayaram’s next.
This is the first time Harsha is helming a project for Puneeth that will also feature Ramya Krishnan in a pivotal role along with Ravi Shankar and Chikkanna among others. The film’s
music will be by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Swamy J.
