There are no stars and only heroes in Chakravarthy, so said Darshan, at the movie’s grand audio release function on Sunday. But heroes there are plenty -- nine of them. “Whether the actors are one-film-old or on their 50th film, I was glad to be one among them,” said Darshan. The nine in Chakravathy are Darshan, Aditya, Srujan, Yashas, Sardar Satya, , Kumar Bangarappa, Manoj, Bharath and Siddhanth and all have played lead roles in their previous films.
The film also has an equally good antagonist Dinakar Thoogudeepa. Brother of Darshan and a director, he is facing the camera for the first time. Chakravarthy also features Shawar Ali, Shivdwaj Harish Rai and Sharath Lohithashwa among others.
Darshan credited cinematographer KS Chandrashekar for being the ‘silent cameraman’ and thanked Arjun Janya for the movie’s album.
The actor made a special mention about the film’s producer Siddanth saying, “Siddanth said I am like his brother, but I want to add that I got a good brother.” He said,“This film was supposed to be produced by the makers of Sarathy who backed out at the last minute. That’s when Annaji Nagaraj entered this project along with Siddanth and both took the responsibility of taking this film forward.”
