Tagaru’s hero is its story: Suri

Suri says that the two actors share a lot of screen space in the film with Manvitha’s role well balanced with that of Shivarajkumar.

The shooting for Shivarajkumar-starrer, Tagaru, directed by Suri, is currently going on near Kapu beach in Udupi and looking at the exclusive pictures on the sets, the Century star along with leading lady Manvitha Harish seem to have completely immersed themselves into their respective characters.

Squeezing time from his busy schedule, Suri spoke to City Express and mentioned that their current schedule involves some important scenes but there  are some distractions. “The film has some interesting elements since the subject mainly runs on screenplay and we need to be on our toes.

While we are busy involving ourselves, there is so much of disturbance with the way my film is getting a post-mortem  at shooting stages. I want to stress at this point that for Tagaru, the story is the hero, shaped well by the strong characters.

By now, even a star like Shivarajkumar has understood this fact along with other actors like Manvitha, Dhananjay, Vasishta, Simha” explains Suri, who requests audience to have little patience and the result will be exciting to look out for. “I want Tagaru to do the talk with its story and characters and not by who is sharing how much screen space and with whom,” he says.

Speaking about the the lead pair, Suri says that the two actors share a lot of screen space in the film with Manvitha’s role well balanced with that of Shivarajkumar. The other characters include Dhananjay and Vasishta Simha, who are playing antagonists while Bhavana has a pivotal role to play. “She will join the sets in February” informs Suri.

This is the first production by KP Srikanth with Charan Raj as music director and Mahendra Simha as its cameraman.
