Jaggesh, who had a successful run with Neer Dose is back to the silver screen. The actor, who is garnering attention onthe small screen with Comedy Khiladigalu along with Rakshita and Yogaraj Bhat is now ready with his directorial film, Melkote Manja.
While he plans to launch the audio on the Comedy show, the actor reveals to City Express that he has turned a lyricist for this film. He has written a duet number, which goes like Kanmuchi Nadedaga Yaakinge Helu Baa… Kanmuchi Nadedaga Yaakinge Helu Baa… “I am a big fan of Jayanth Kaikini, and have been following his works over the last decade. He was the one who influenced me to write a romantic song for my film,” says the director-actor.
The lyrics to other songs have been penned by Yogaraj Bhat and Ramnarayan with Puneeth lending his voice to one of the tracks composed by Giri Diwan,” Jaggesh informs us.
Aindrita Ray, who will be debuting in Bollywood plays the female lead in Melkote Manja with Rangayana
Raghu and Jeevan playing prominent roles. For Jaggesh, who is around 141 films old as an actor,
Melkote Manja will be his second outing as a director after Guru.
