Ravichandran will appear as Krishna in Kurukshetra

In a first, he will share screen space with Darshan, who plays Duryodhana in his 50th film 

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding Kurukshetra and especially after it was announced as Darshan’s 50th film. While the star plays Duryodhana, there is also curiosity about who will play the other characters.

There were rumours that big names such as Arjun Sarja, Ravichandran and even Telugu actor Raana of Baahubali fame may feature in the film produced by Munirathna and directed by Naganna. And now we know for sure that Ravichandran is on board and what role he will essay.
The actor, known as Crazy Star in Kannada industry, will be playing ‘Krishna’ in Kurukshetra, his first ever

periodic drama. The decision on his role came after a series of discussions with the actor, and an official
announcement will be made once the actor signs on the
dotted line. Our source says, “Ravichandran has accepted the role and even done the costume trials. He says that he plans to get fit to play Krishna... he has even asked for dialogues before work on the film begins.”

The actor has raised the bar by signing up for the filmy avatar of Mahabharata and we are curious about his look, who we hear will be getting his rid of his moustache for the role.
Kurukshetra will also have Ravichandran and Darshan sharing screen space for the first time. Ravichandran has once directed music for the Darshan’s film Ayya and has even clapped  for his projects. It should be exciting to watch them in a single frame.   
Meanwhile the makers are putting in all their effort to roping in the best cast.  The film’s music will be by
Hamsalekha.
