Shraddha Srinath is being selective about the movies she will be part of, and had stressed on that in her earlier interview with City Express. Therefore, she is taking her time to sign on her next project in Sandalwood.
Meanwhile, the actress seems to have bagged her next big film in Kollywood. The U-Turn actress, who was appreciated for her work in films such as Vikram Vedha and Ivan Thandiran, in likely to be paired opposite actor Udayanidhi Stalin in his next. This PS Mithran directorial will be a cop story.
The actress remains tight-lipped about it, waiting for the production house or director to make the announcement.
However, our sources tells us, “Director Mithran is keen to have Shraddha on board and is in talks with the actress. Since, he is gearing up for the release of his other film Irumbu Thirai, starring Vishal and Samantha, he may take a call on Udayanidhi’s project after Irumbu’s release. That is when he may make an official announcement about his next project.” If this project does come through, it will be the another big film for the actress in Tamil.
Shraddha is also looking forward to the release of Richie, which is likely to be out on December 8. The film is a remake of Kannada hit movie Ulidavaru Kandante, a story written by actor-director Rakshit Shetty. In it, she is paired opposite Nivin Pauly. Richie has music by Ajaneesh Lokanath.
