Kurukshetra’s audio to be launched in April

2D and 3D post-production is in full swing; one version of magnum opus has been completed

This piece of interesting news on Muniratna Kurukshetra is sure to make all the fans excited! City Express has caught wind of this latest development on the movie front. Made in 2D and 3D, Kurukshetra is into post-production work full swing.

The music rights of the mythological drama has been sold to Lahari audio company for a huge price. The makers, meanwhile are preparing for a mega audio launch, which in all likelihood, will take place by end of April. The music scored by V Harikrishna, is accompanied with lyrics written by Nagendra Prasad. The album consists of four major songs, with bits that includes slokas and skanda padya.

Technically, the film’s dubbing has been completed and the team is done with effects and re-recording. Our source tells us, “One version of the film is ready, and soon to be in queue for the censors.”

Apparently, the 3D version of the film is taking time because of the graphics, and it is said that there are technicians handling the job across Bengaluru , Mumbai and Hyderabad, who are working day and night.
“Everything is on track, and it is just that the production house wants everything in hand before getting into the promotional activities,” the source reveals.

Kurukshetra directed by Naganna, is Darshan’s 50th film. The historical drama features actors Ambareesh, Srinath, Arjun Sarja, Ravichandran, Ravi Shankar Nikhil Kumar, Sneha, Sonu Sood, Danish Akthar Saifi, Meghana Raj, Hariprriya among others. The film has cinematography by Jayanan Vincent.
