Actress, all of 18 years, will make her debut with Puttaraju - lover of Shashikala; film based on a true story has her playing a 10th standard student  
Jayshree set to fulfill grandmother Maarimuttu's dream

SSarojamma, to the industry and to the cinegoers was known as Maarimuttu. Credit goes to her first film Upendra, in which she shared screen space with the Real star along with Prema, Raveena Tandon among others. She later was featured in a few films before she passed away a couple of years ago. Now coming to fulfill her dreams is Marimuttu's granddaughter, Jayshree Aradhya The young talent all of 18 years is set to enter tinsel town with Puttaraju with a tagline.. lover of Shashikala. The film also marks the directorial debut for Sahadev, who has previously worked as an associate and a first for Amit, who plays the lead.

My grandmother always wanted somebody to enter film industry.  I used to address her as Maarimuttu, and I am happy to fulfil her dreams," says Jayshree. The actress was also part of a single - a break up song, which was released on Valentine's Day. "After 7 to 8 months of struggle I managed to bag a film, and a role, which suits my age. I play a tenth standard student," says the newbie, as she shares a still from the film with City Express.  

It is a true based story, of a director's friend, which took place in Tumkur. Moreover, it is story that can relate to everybody, who has passed 10th standard. A rural based script that takes back to early 2000," says the actress,  adding, "This is just a stepping stone, and I intend to take forward my grandmother's dreams in a big way."
