Remember the convict Sandal Raja played by Nataraj in Rama Rama Re? Dressed in shabby clothes with long, unruly hair, this role brought Nataraj fame. After that role, the actor’s look in his second flick, Kalbettadha Dordekora, will surprise fans.
City Express got hold of the first look from the film, directed by Deepak Maduvanalli.
Now, the actor is clean-shaven for his role as a college-goer. “I play a college student in the film, which is set in a village. My character in Rama Rama Re went into great detail - with minimal dialogues and plenty of facial expressions to depict what he was feeling. It was a completely different experience,” says Nataraj.
The female lead is played by TV actress Shwetha Prasad, whose character is called Kamali. Based on a novel written by Anush Shetty, the film has Hemanth playing the antagonist, along with Sundar Raj, Manjunath, Anil Neenasam, among others, in the cast.
The post-production work has been completed, and the film is ready to be presented to the censor board. The makers are hoping to release it either in July or August. Kalbettadha... has music composed by Anoop Seelin, and cinematography by Kiran Hampapura.
