Young and upcoming talent, Sreeleela seems to be the right person at the right place and right time. The heroine, who is set to debut with AP Arjun's 'Kiss' has been getting opportunities to work on some big-ticket projects even as her first film is yet to release.
As reported earlier, Sreeleela has bagged a lead role in Sriimurali-starrer to be directed by Chethan Kumar, which is likely to start sometime in August. The latest buzz is that the youngster will be paired opposite Dhruva Sarja in Nanda Kishore's directorial Pogaru. According to our sources, Pogaru, which went on floors in March has completed its first schedule, where they shot school portions with Dhruva Sarja, for which the actor has lost 30 kilos.
But, the reason the makers are taking their time with the film is that they are waiting for Dhruva to regain weight and get back to his normal physique. "In the meanwhile, they are hunting for the lead heroine, and Sreeleela seems to fit the bill," sources say.
An initial round of discussion is done and the young talent has supposedly given a nod. Now, it is just a matter of some paperwork and signing the dotted line before the Pogaru team makes an official announcement. If all goes as per plan, Dhruva - Sreeleela will be another refreshing pair that the silver screen of Sandalwood will witness.
The second schedule of Pogaru is likely to begin from the first week of July which is when the actor will be ready to shoot. Pogaru, produced by BK Gangadhar, has Ravi Shankar as part of its cast, music by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Vaidhi.
