Pooja Gandhi is all set to surprise the audience with her looks in her first home production film Abhinetri that sees her in the lead role along with Atul Kulkarni and Makarand Deshpande. The filmmakers have released stills from the film, in which Kitty and Pooja are seen sporting a retro look.

Here, the couple is reprising the old hit song Tam nam tam nam nan e manasu midiyuthide... from the film Eradu Kanasu starring Rajkumar and Kalpana.

The song seems to confirm the speculation that Abhinetri is based on the life of actor Kalpana.

Kitty was happy to be part of the song and apparently did it free of cost.

He says, “I grew up listening to this song from Eradu Kanasu. And when Pooja told me about recreating the song, I was happy to take it up. I don’t know how much emotion I could put into the song, but it was exciting to groove to the tunes of Tam nam tam nam. In fact, director Bhagwan was happy when he heard that this song has been included in the movie. Also, choreographer Chinni Prakash has managed to give the song a completely different look.”

“The whole team is putting in a lot of effort for a new product and I was a part of it for my friendship with Pooja,” he says.
