Chatrapathi - Underworldge Adipathi starring doctor-turned-actor, Siddanth and directed by Dinesh Gandhi was recently in the middle  of a controversy, with pro-Hindu and Maratha organisations objecting to the tagline of the film. However the issue was resolved with the makers changing the tagline to Hindutvakke Adipathi.

The film is all set to release this week with the main theatre being Nartaki. In an attempt to release in as many  theatres as possible, the makers wanted to remove films like Bhajarangi and Raja Hulli from a couple of theatres.

K Manju, producer of Raja Hulli, says, "I postponed my other film Ragini IPS only to give way for Chatrapathi. I did so because of my friend Siddanth who is acting in the film. However I am not ready for any more sacrifices, especially removing a good movie like Raja Hulli from any theatre, as it is now heading towards 100 days."

KP Srikanth, producer and president of Shivarajkumar's Fans Association is also making sure that Shivanna's latest film Bhajarangi is not removed from any theatre since it recently had a massive opening across the state and is currently doing well at the box-office. Chatrapathi is a remake of Telugu film of the same name, which starred Prabhas and Sriya Saran.
