Silk Smitha’s life witnessed an anti-climactic end. That may be the reason why the makers have decided to opt the title ‘Climax’ for the sexy siren’s biopic  which will be made in Malayalam.

Bollywood glamour girl Sana Khan will live the life of Silk Smitha in the film. Directed by Anil, the cast of the film includes Nishan (‘Rithu’ fame), Baburaj, Suresh Krishna and Lakshmi Sharma. Directors K Madhu, Thampi Kannanthanam and Viji Thampy will play their real life roles in this movie that will be produced by P J Thomas under the banner Nice Movies.

The story of the movie is penned by Antony Eastman, who introduced Smitha to Malayalam and Kaloor Dennis, who etched out more than 15 characters for her, is the script writer. The makers said that ‘Climax’ will not be the remake of ‘Dirty picture’.

According to them, ‘Dirty Picture’ failed in portraying the real life of Silk Smitha and was made without any proper understanding of the way South Indian film industry works. “We are trying to portray the real picture of her life,” said Kaloor Dennis. Berny-Ignatious team will render music for the movie. Vayalar Sarath is the lyricist.

The shooting of the film will begin next month. Chennai, Coimbatore and Thodupuzha are the major locations.
