Hindi movie Queen, starring Kangna Ranaut, is being remade in Malayalam. Amala Paul will play the lead in the movie, which will be directed by Revathy. In a strange twist of fate, the lead character’s life resembles Amala’s a lot—a young girl deserted by her fiancé and how she struggles to become an independent woman in a foreign land. Another version in Kannada will be directed by Prakash Raj, with Rakul Preet Singh as the lead character.
