Amala Paul has reportedly been signed to play the leading role in the Malayalam remake of Queen to be directed by Revathy.
The original role was played by Kangna Ranaut to great reception. The actress has also supposedly backed out of Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai due to “date issues”.
Talking to CE, her manager says, “Amala Paul now has nine films including Queen, Thiruttu Payale 2, Cindrella, and Bhaskar Oru Rascal.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to allocate time for Vetrimaaran’s project.” A while ago, it was said that the actress was working on a specific slang for her character in the film.
