One question that hovered around Prabhas during the interactive session on  Sunday evening at Kochi was the expected: ‘Why Kattappa killed Baahubali’.

The actor quipped: “Maybe Kattappa thought he was killing Bhallala Deva.” His tongue-in-cheek reply was met with a huge laughter.

In a witty mood, the actor, the crowd’s obvious favourite, answered every question about Baahubali 2- The Conclusion.

The actor, along with co-stars Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah was in Kochi for the promotion of the big release on April 28. Though there is barely a week left, Prabhas says Baahubali hasn’t left his system yet.

“This was a dream-like journey. I still haven’t got over Mahishmathi and Amarendra Baahubali. It took a lot of time and hard work, so obviously this is close to me. I may get over it after the movie’s release,”  he adds.

The actor says though he knew Baahubali would be a mammoth project, he never expected it to be this monumental. “I have known Rajamouli sir for the past 12 years. The project had been in his mind for long and when he told me I am doing the lead role, I didn’t expect this magnitude. It has changed me,” said Prabhas.

Though Prabhas has portrayed both the characters - Shivudu and Amarendra - with ease, he holds the latter close to his heart. “I feel more connected to Amarendra. He knew he has to be the king. His actions were precise. He had a commitment and lived for that,” he adds.

However, is he apprehensive about the possible leak of the suspense element?  “That doesn’t matter. Even if it goes out, the people will still see the movie for the respect it deserves. This is a visual feast that has to be enjoyed on screen. We are aware that social media is so powerful, but we expect that people who love this movie can never let it out,” he added.

Though Baahubali has redefined the actor in him, Prabhas says he doesn’t see the possibility for any more sequels. “It is very unlikely. The story concludes here,” he adds.

Art director Sabu Cyril and actors Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati also spoke at the meet. The function was also attended by director Faazil who received the Audio CD of the movie from the actors.
