Fahadh Faasil's next Aanenkilum Allenkilum will go on the floors this October, confirmed a source. The movie, that has Fahad and Sunny Wayne playing close friends, is being directed by debutant Vivek.

According to the source, Aanenkilum Allenkilum is a comedy set against the backdrop of a funeral. "Fahad and Sunny play two close friends, who are based in Bengaluru. Like the majority youth today, they are cocooned in their own world.

However, an incident happens that forces them to learn about the value of relationships," say the source. The narrative of the movie, most of which will be shot in Bengaluru and Kottayam, will be laced in humour.

Adds a source close to the team: "The kind of humour in Aanenkilum Allenkilum is not a verbal or situational one. It depends on the performance of the lead characters. This movie will have the flavours of early Priyadarshan movies where the humour stayed one step above slapstick.  That is why the makers insisted on Fahad as he is a gifted actor who handles humour well."

Sunny Wayne will have an equally prominent character. "Both Fahad and Sunny are the heroes," says the source. While the search for female lead is on, we hear that the movie has two love tracks, one set decades ago while the another a more recent one.

"The female characters have a lot of significance. There will be two lead ladies and they will be announced soon," said sources. Aanenkilum Allenkilum, scripted by Vivek, Ajay Rahul and Arun, will hit the theatres only next year.
