According to the director, the makers have roped in a team of 24 fitness experts to train Mohanlal. The actor has undergone a strict diet and regimen, which is similar to that athletes go through. Odiyan has Mohanlal playing Manickyan, a man with immense athletic prowess. It also has Manju Warrier and Prakash Raj in lead roles.
