The latest addition to Mohanlal’s upcoming film with director B Unnikrishnan is Hansika. We hear the actor plays an extended cameo as Vishal’s romantic interest.
The filmmaker confirmed the news on Twitter. “I wish great luck to Hansika. She’ll have a special appearance in my Mohanlal film produced by Rockline.” In response, Hansika, re-tweeted and commented, “Thank you sir means a lot! Excited to part of this project.”
According to reports, Mohanlal plays the role of a retired police officer in the film. Sources said the shooting would be in Kerala from the last week of February. The project is a big budget venture of `30 crore. Sources added VFX and special effects have a lot of importance in the making. Meanwhile, when Hansika was asked about her working in the untitled remake of the Telugu hit film Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada (2016), she said, “Those are untrue.”
