Shane Nigam, whose latest C/O Saira Banu is doing a good business in the box office, will soon start shooting for a love story, on the lines of his debut Annayum Rasoolum. The movie from the Rajeev Ravi stable will go on the floors next month.
Says Shane: “The movie is directed by editor-turned-actor Ajith Kumar. I play a guy who works with an insurance firm. In fact, the love story is loosely inspired by the legendary Romeo and Juliet. It shares the flavours of Annayum Rasoolum, but of course, this is set in another terrain and time,” says Shane. A fresh face will be seen opposite him. The movie will be shot in Mysore and Kozhikode.
On whether, he plans to look out for different genres, (having done two intense outings already), Shane says there is no intentional effort in that
regard.
“I, basically, look out for characters where I have something to do. I want to do good movies. Of course, I would like to do a mindless entertainer but I am not on the look out for any such particular genre,” says the actor. Director B Ajithkumar was the editor in Rajeev Ravi’s Malayalam movies Annayum Rasoolum, Njan Steve Lopez and Kammattipadam.
